Gray Purcell Completes
Mosaic Condo Project
Portland - Tigard, Ore.-based Gray Purcell, Inc. a commercial
general contractor, has finished the approximately $4 million
Mosaic Condominium project at SW 11th Avenue and Columbia
Street.
Canadian developers A. Fraser McColl and Don Charity tapped
Gray Purcell, Inc. at midpoint to assume general contractor
responsibilities on the 8-story, 37,000-sq.-ft., mixed-use
commercial/residential project.
The Mosaic's 40 units (two-level townhomes and one-level
lofts) range from 460 sq. ft. to 1,191 sq. ft. Street level
units are convertible to retail use and a beauty salon is
already in place. Finishes include maple floors, stand-alone
gas fireplace, CAT-5 high-speed Internet wiring and bike storage.

which helps to treat rainwater before it runs into the city's
sewage system.

No Bull: Area Leaders Donate Cash to Children
Portland - For 10 Oregon children's charities, 2004 started
off in a grand way: with an impressive monetary donation.
Donations totaling $300,000 from the B.U.L.L. Session - a
coalition of Business, Union and Legislative Leaders - will
help outstanding local children's groups like the Providence
Child Center in Portland and the March of Dimes.
The contributions were raised September 9, 2003, at the annual
B.U.L.L. Session golf tournament and auction at Pumpkin Ridge
Golf Club. The B.U.L.L. Session, in its 13th year, includes
community leaders from business, labor unions, lawmakers and
the local media. More than 480 golfers took part in the fundraiser
this year.
This most recent fundraising event brought the B.U.L.L. Session's
total contributions to children's charities over the past
13 years to $1.7 million.
The $300,000 donation will be shared by Doernbecher Children's
Hospital, Gales Creek Camp Foundation, Hearing and Speech
Institute, Emanuel Children's Hospital Foundation, March of
Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Shriners Hospitals
for Children-Portland, Special Olympics Oregon, Wheel to Walk
Foundation and Providence Child Center.
