LRS Architects, Inc. announced that Architects Michael Roberts and Dan Edwards were named senior associates, interior designer Michelle Startt was promoted to associate, and the firm has added architect, Monica Jones; project manager, Julie Paulson; and interiors intern, Carrie Wright to the professional staff.

MulvannyG2 Architecture, recently hired Chokaku Suzumura as principal of the Retail Environments Group. Suzumura was formally the Director of Planning and Design for Perlman Architects, Inc. based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The mechanical consulting firm of CDi Engineers announced the addition of six engineering staff members to its Mark Stavig, P.E., Associate; Jill Connell, P.E., LEED® AP; Lisa Rosenow, CSBA, LEED® AP; Robert Kuchcinski, P.E.; Marc Rypdahl; and Frank Colon.

W.G. Clark Construction has recently added two superintendents, Dave Dalton and Neil Crawford. Dave Dalton has 24 years of experience in construction, with multifamily projects his most recent area of specialty. Neal Crawford brings over 35 years of experience as a project superintendent to W.G. Clark.

Carlos Inclán, an architectural lighting professional, recently joined Candela Lighting Design and Consulting as a senior lighting designer. Inclán's project experience ranges from upscale residential to entertainment and civic renovations.

The MacDowell Colony, known since 1907 for granting residencies to many of the nation's top artists and architects, has awarded Tom Kundig, principal of the Seattle-based architecture firm, Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects, one of its 2006 fellowships.
The MacDowell Colony selects artists from a diverse cross-section of creative disciplines to live and work at its Peterborough, N.H. property.

Skanska USA Building Inc. announced the promotion or hire of the following individuals: Bruce Holms has been promoted to senior vice president and account manager for Seattle. Chris Toher, who has worked with Skanska for 18 years, has been promoted to senior vice president and account manager for Seattle. Kris Beason has joined Skanska's Seattle office as a senior project manager. James Masters has joined the Seattle office as a senior superintendent. Bob Paddock, who has over 15 years of experience in the industry, has been promoted to superintendent in the Seattle office.
