MulvannyG2 Architecture beefed  up its Costco team with several  new employees.

Arnie Hollander, Assoc. AIA, has joined the staff at Architectural Resources Group, Inc (ARG).  As a senior associate, Hollander will manage projects and provide construction management services.  He will lead ARG’s Pacific Northwest regional work from Portland. Hollander has extensive experience representing property owners by implementing repair and maintenance programs and managing seismic upgrade, adaptive reuse, and restoration projects for their historic properties

Portland architecture firm Yost Grube Hall Architecture (YGH) has added five new members–Mark Stoller, Tom Robbins, Linda Cameron, Edward Running and Amy Winterowd to its shareholders group.  Stoller, AIA, rejoined YGH in 2005. Robbins, RA, LEED® AP, joined YGH in 2003. Robbins has over 16 years experience with institutional and commercial projects at YGH. Cameron, AIA, LEED® AP, joined YGH in 2003, and has 16 years experience in design, documentation, and construction administration. Running, LEED AP, joined YGH in 2000. Running is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon. Winterowd, joined YGH in 2001.

The Port of Tacoma recently promoted Brian Mannelly to manager of planning and CAD Services. He was initially hired by the Port in 2005. In his new position, he will work with the Port's environmental and engineering staff to design future Port development options. Scott Hooton recently joined the Port as an Environmental Program Manager responsible for the Port's Remediation Unit. In this position, he manages the environmental team responsible for cleaning up contaminated properties and conducting due diligence for the Port's Industrial Real Estate staff. Jack Hedge joined the Port's Industrial Commercial Real Estate group as manager of real estate. In this position, he will focus on real estate acquisitions for industrial development in the Tacoma Tideflats area.

DECA Architecture, Inc. recently hired Elizabeth Johnson and Kate Walsh to their staff. Johnson joins DECA with four years of experience in interior design. She is LEED® certified, which supports DECA’s commitment to sustainable design.  Walsh joined DECA as an office administrator. Kate holds degrees in Photography and Art History from the University of Arizona, and has a professional background in writing and marketing.

MulvannyG2 Architecture announced that nine members of its Costco Team have been promoted.  The Costco Team provides services including planning new facilities and renovations, documentation, cost control and coordinating cost rebate programs.  MulvannyG2 is also Costco’s sole provider of construction document and administration relations services.  

Glen Gearhart was promoted to Senior Associate.  In his role as Project Manager, Gearhart is the point of contact for maintenance of over 400 Costco warehouse facilities in North America.  He has close to 20 years of experience at MulvannyG2.

The following individuals were promoted to Associate within the Costco Team:

Ed Galliway is Team Captain, responsible for managing a team of 12 and overseeing construction projects in the U.S. Northwest region.

Christine Lasley is Team Captain and oversees Costco projects in the Los Angeles, California and Hawaii areas.  

George Runne is Team Captain, responsible for managing a team of ten and overseeing construction in the U.S. Southeast region.

Joseph Welch is Team Caption responsible for managing the Costco warehouses in the Northern California Bay Area.  

Craig Chapman is responsible for project management and training of new team members for the Midwest region.  

Geoffrey Grice is project manager responsible for team building and remodeling Costco properties in the U.S. Midwest regions.  He also assists with quality assurance in the Bay Area, Northwest, and Midwest regions.  

Geir Mjelde is project manager responsible for managing Costco properties in the Northwest region.  

Ben Scougale is project manager responsible for managing master drawings on the Costco Operations team.
